Rev. Dr. Burrell A. Smith, Jr. is presently the Pastor of the New Vine Baptist Church in Charles City County, Virginia.
He holds membership in serveral significant organizations: General Board Member of American Baptist Churches of the South Area II, Subscribing Life/NAACP, Volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Charles City the VUU Alumni Association, and President of the Charles City Clergy Conference.
He earned his Doctorate of Ministry Degree from the Samuel D. Proctor School of Theology of Virginia Union University. He is the son of Mr. Burrell A. Smith, Sr. and the late Mrs. Josephine Smith. Rev. Smith is married to former Rev. Sabrina D. Watson of Washington, D.C. He is the father of two children and the grandfather of seven.
