Pastor Cedric D. Rouson is noted as one of the youngest established pastoral figures in
the greater Hampton Roads region of Virginia. He serves as Co-Pastor of the Shekinah
Glory Outreach Ministries International, Inc. in Portsmouth, VA along with his father,
Bishop A. Ray Rouson, Sr. "Pastor Ced", as he is affectionately called, represents the
fourth generation of pastors within his familial lineage and is the second born son of
Bishop A. Ray and the late Dr. Christina Rouson, who founded the ministry after more
than 20 years of joint pastoral leadership. Rouson was appointed as Co-Pastor in 2010,
following the sudden passing of his mother. Shekinah Glory has been dubbed a place
that "mends the broken and transforms them into leaders". Since Rouson's succession,
this burden has caused the ministry to emerge as a place of deliverance, discipleship, and
development in the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Rouson began formal studies at Hampton University and is currently an
organizational leadership major at prestiegous Regent University in Virginia Beach,
VA. Rouson is much highly sought after musician and composer, whose music ministry
began at 3 years old and has garnered him opportunities to perform, record, and produce
throughout the United States, Italy, and Demark.
He also serves as Executive Director of the Shekinah Glory Community Development
Corporation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization designed to empower individuals
and families by addressing and meeting the needs pertinent to the independence and
establishment of persons in the communities within the greater Hampton Roads of
Virginia.
