Apostle Marion Jones currently serves as the Senior Pastor (39 years) at the St. Mark Deliverance Center in Portsmouth, Virginia and is the Presiding Prelate of St. Mark Ministries with member churches in Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Virginia.
Apostle Marion Jones was born in High Point, North Carolina. She completed elementary and secondary schooling in Newport News, Virginia. Apostle Jones furthered her education at Norfolk State University and received her Bachelor of Theology Degree in 1993 from the International Seminary, Plymouth, Florida. She received her Doctor of Divinity Degree in 1994 from Trinity Hall College and Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. She was consecrated to the office of Bishop in 1995 and affirmed as Apostle in 2002.
In faithfulness to God, Apostle Jones has traveled throughout the Continental United States and Europe preaching and teaching the Gospel of deliverance to needy souls and God confirmed His word with signs and wonders following. For over 35 years, the Radio Ministry, "Words of Spirit and Life," has reached the hearts of many locally, nationally, and internationally along with the television ministry.
For 46 years, Apostle Jones was married to the late Deacon James W. Jones. They are the parents of four sons (one deceased), one daughter, thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
