Randy and Cherie Gilbert are the founders and pastors of Faith Landmarks Ministries in Richmond, Virginia. Graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center, the Gilberts have been in ministry for over 30 years.
The Gilberts founded FLM in 1980, and had an initial congregation of 13. Through the years, the congregation has grown to over 9500 members. There is a strong emphasis at FLM on helps, and on training and equipping the church to go into the world and do the work of the ministry.
With a strong belief in the importance of Christian education, Randy and Cherie Gilbert founded Victory Christian Academy in 1985. This fully-accredited, K3-12th grade school continues to thrive and grow.
In 1989, the Gilberts founded Faith Landmarks Bible Institute, a one and two year ministry training program. FLBI is open to the community, and is tailored for both people looking to enter full-time ministry, as well as those looking for deeper study of the Word of God.
