Steve Durrette was born in Staunton, VA. He is the youngest of three children born to Deacon Roy H. and Deaconess Mary C. Durrette. He was educated in the Staunton Public System. Rev. Durrette gave his life to Christ at the age
of sixteen, and was Baptized at Mt. Salem baptist Church by Rev. Samuel J. Anderson. Served in Trustee's Ministry for 13 years, si of them as Chairman, and from 2003 to 2006 served on
Deacon Ministry.
Rev. Durrette was License to Preach the Gospel on July 15th 2007. He is presently attending Trinity College & Theological Seminary in New burgh, Indiana. He is employed at Va. Truck Center in Weyer's Cave, Va.
He is married to the former Janie Beale of Bridgewater, Va. His favorite Scipture is Ecclesiastes 5: 4-6. "When you make a vow to God do not delay in fulling it. He has no pleasure in fools. Do not let your mouth lead you into sin." Rev.
Durrette believes when praises goes up blessings come down.
